The Snacking You Won’t Regret
Lately, I have gotten way more serious with my health. That being said, I cut out all types of crazy food I have been putting into my body.
Now, I eat healthy by choosing mostly fruits and vegetables. I try to cook at least 3-4 times a week, but even in between meals you get hungry right?? Well maybe not you, but I sure do! So I found some healthy snacks to share with you guys.
Pretzels aren’t the healthiest thing out there, but they are not the worst. The salt on them helps cure cravings and leaves you feeling satisfied. Of course you want to eat it in moderation, so I try to not take in more than 12 at time.
Plantain chips
Omgee plantain chips taste just like lays chips just a little thicker. They are so delicious and so satisfying. I bought these from Walmart in the fresh produce section. They can be kind of costly, so don’t eat too many at once or you’ll have to keep running back to the store lol
Apple chips & dry crab berries
Now, these little snacks are not my fav but I trained myself to like them. I literally told myself if they are healthy, then like them lol that simple… I usually find myself making homemade trail mix with these and that helps me eat them more lol
Omgee there was a time I hated almonds unless they were coated with milk chocolate. Boy, I’ve come a long way lol now I eat almonds with salad, trail mix, and even by themselves. I love it now.
I promise granola is so diverse. Granola can be cereal a dry cereal or add some almond milk and becomes just as good as honey bunches of oats. It cures your sugar cravings. It literally keeps me full for hours. It’s a great detox. Put some in a baggy along with these other items and you will have a great trail mix.
When you decide to really be healthy and live that life the things you once enjoyed will become the things you hate. And the things you once hated, you I’ll crave! It’s all about growth! Remember though, too much of anything is bad for you ! Happy snacking loves!
